Take part in the ultimate 100km 24hour endurance event crossing Scotland from West to East on the scenic and challenging Great Glen Way
Run or walk from Banavie to Inverness to complete the route in under 24 hours. The event will start at 21:00hrs on 3rd April 2010 and travel through the night, therefore ALL entrants must carry a fully operational headtorch and ensure they have sufficient food/water to allow them to complete the challenge.

Entry will include the provision of a unique high visibility souvenir vest which MUST be worn throughout the event.
The event is open to entrants aged 19 years and over, you must be physically fit and although water and some sports nutrition will be available, entrants will need to be self sufficient in coping with everything that a remote mountain region can throw at them.

The route follows the Great Glen Way which utilises canalside tracks, forest roads and footpaths to traverse the Great Glen
Online entrants will incur a 75p postage fee to cover the despatch of race packs. Postal entrants must include an A4 SAE in order to receive their race packs.

DECLARATION:
Upon payment it will be considered that entrants have accepted the general rules of the Great Glen Way and a declaration that you will compete on foot and run/walk entirely at your own risk. Neither GGWET or Ultramarathon accept any responsibilities for loss or damage to equipment or injury during the event. Cars and their contents are parked entirely at the owners risk. Dogs will not be allowed to accompany competitors and following cycles will not be allowed. The site will be open to general non-race going visitors and allowance must be made by runners for this.
I also confirm that the entrant I am registering for the Great Glen Death March meets the specified age criteria and is suffering no medical condition that may render him/her unfit to compete in a running event. I understand that proof of age may be requested prior to the start of the race and that failure to comply with the age restrictions will result in disqualification and the loss of my entry fee.
